I have exactly 3 weeks from today to hit my weight loss and fitness goals.   My overarching goal was to get into the best shape of my life.  I'm not there yet,  real talk that's gonna be tough,  I was a freakin beast when I was younger.  The cool thing and short-term win is, I’m in better shape than I've been in the last 18 years.  No worries, I’ll still get into the best shape of my life,  it’s just gonna take me a little longer than the 6 months I had originally planned.  And to my fellow OCR people, October or November looks like a good time for a Spartan Race.  I'll keep you posted on that.

As far as weight loss,  I'm almost there.  I weighed in at 272lbs in October and 277lbs in November.  Crazy right?  My goal back then was to get to 220-225 by June 12, my birthday.  As of this morning, I’m at 235.6.  In the words of Kobe Bryant,  “The job’s not done”  I have 3 weeks to lose 10-15 lbs.  

What does the next 3 weeks of training look like for me?

  1. Increase my water intake from 100oz to 126oz.  

  2. Add 2 dedicated 20-25 min Hiit workouts to my workout schedule

  3. Try and get 6-7 hours of sleep as opposed to my normal 3-5 hours

  4. Increase my training weights by 10%.  Weight training is the most effective and efficient way to lose weight

  5. Continue intermittent fasting 16-18 hours per day 

  6. Continue to not drink alcohol and high-sugar food/drinks

We started this journey together, I appreciate you riding with me.  I'll keep you posted during the next three weeks.  After my birthday, I start training for Spartan. AhhRoo
