When I think about commitment, dedication, tenacity, and stubbornness I can’t help but think about my Uncle Jake and Aunt Paula.  Today is their wedding anniversary.  They dated for 5 years before they were married,  that was 38 years ago.  So they've been together for 43 years.  That's what life is all about!  They recently spent a week with us and the beautiful thing is they still do all the special little things for each other and you can feel the love they have for each other. Let's not get it twisted, marriage is hard work, but they have figured out a way to keep the love, respect, and excitement.  I salute them.  I appreciate the example they set.  I celebrate with them while basking in the glow of the beautiful life they've created.
