When I go to the gym and push myself past boundaries my mind has established I am rewarded with the pain of doing something unexpected yet satisfying.
I was talking to my man Tim at the gym this morning. He made a comment that was funny but also a compliment. He said when he looked around the gym saw me but he did not recognize me because my body had changed so much. If you know Tim, that’s a huge compliment. Thank you, my man! We continued talking about stuff and ended up talking about the Spartan Race I’m training for. I invited him to do it with me. He was hesitant and said he did not want to commit because if he committed then he would have to do it. 30 minutes later he came back to me and said he was going to do it! My other gym buddy, Urshalar said she might do it also, and my Frat brother, James, said he would do it with me. Pretty cool that something I committed to do by myself has grown to 3 other people doing it with me. God is good. “You’ll never walk Alone” - (Luke 24: 13-35)
