The last alcoholic drink I had was on July 3, 2023.  I might decide to have a drink sometime in the future,  but for right now,  that has been one of the best decisions I’ve made in the past year.  I have no judgment or opinion about others who choose to drink.  Also,  I did not drink excessively, mainly at social functions and those lazy Saturdays or Sundays by the pool.   I have found that by not drinking, especially in a setting where everyone else is drinking,  I get a new high on self-control.  It might sound weird, but once you experience it, you’ll understand it. This is not me on a soapbox, just me sharing another one of my personal experiences that has enhanced my journey on this thing we call life.   Do you have any experiences that have enhanced your journey?  If so feel free to share in the comment section below.
