To my Son,  I’m always here for you…

I look into the depths of my soul and see the fiery beast of my youth.  That irrational, at times uncontrollable menace that welcomed the chaos.   That twin’s switch was always on and ready for whatever.  Man, I'm thankful I survived that time—that time of uncertainty and cracked clarity. And in time I started to understand reality.  This thing we call life is not a certainty or an easy task for you or me.  It is a thing that allows you to choose your destiny.  Hard work is not the only key, but a key to a different type of reality.  That reality is there will be times when mistakes happen, poor judgment is used and unwise decisions are made.  My counsel to you my son is Self-Grace first,  Your Purpose second, and your Village third.

These three steps will keep you humbled, centered, and grounded.
