What is “28 Days to Savage?”
28 Days to Savage is me documenting my journey to my next Savage Obstacle Course Race on June 28. I’ve been on this physical, mental, and emotional journey for some time now, and decided to share some of my thoughts and actions specific to preparing for this race. There is always an outside-looking-in perspective. Usually, these perspectives have a bias that may or may not be 100% accurate. I wanted to give you a glimpse into my perspective. Will it be perfect? No. Will it be edited? Not really. Will it share all the “Tea about Vee”? No. But flaws and all, it will show some portions of my 28-day journey. People might think I have things all figured out, but I don't. Just like you, I’m still figuring things out. “Self-Grace”, is one of the areas I’ve grown in. In my opinion, “Self-Grace” is a huge component of mental health. I've been spending more energy working on my mental, emotional, and physical health as opposed to just my Physical health.
“28 Days to Savage” is just a glimpse of what I’m experiencing mentally, physically, and emotionally for 28 days until my next OCR.
