Sometimes it takes others to help you keep the proper perspective.  My wife reminded me the tree could have landed 5 feet to the right and damaged our house instead of the deck.  

I was frustrated because the last three weeks have been a test of mental patience, but thankful once reminded that no one was hurt and the damage could have been much worse.  Lord,  we are thankful for your hand of protection against things seen and unseen.  We remain positive despite the urge to become negative.  We are grateful for your lesson on perspective amid life's challenges.  We remain thankful.  Amen
