We stay ready for all situations is what we say. But the situations we think we are ready for, aren't the ones we’ve studied for.
The magic wand of life shifts flips and mifs. It’s swift in its delivery of misery for you, scratch that I commiserate with you. We ride together, we even said we’d die together, so I would never leave you to suffer without me, suffering with you in this thing we call life.
But as the medical-induced haze dissipates and your conscienceness recalculates to the present, I stand here in the brink of your subconscious to chase any of those miseries that might try to escape into your reality. It, they them, will have to suffer me, your shield and protector I will be, for now, until eternity.
