It’s been a good week professionally.  Personally, this week has been a challenge.  This is the first year since my mom's passing, that I have been away from family on May 16th.  Sometimes professional responsibility takes priority over personal preference.  That being said, I appreciate my wife, my son, my cousin, my Gemini twin Iris, and my guy Steven for checking in on me.  

As I recap all the conversations I’ve had this past week,  I think about one specific comment I made to someone, “You carry the demons you choose to carry.”  I double down on that comment with, “Life is too short to carry all the negative.”  Trust me, we all have negative baggage, some baggage is heavier than others, but there comes a time when we have to leave that baggage behind and enjoy life.  Leaving the proverbial baggage behind has helped me find peace over the years.  I pray those who continue to carry that baggage put it down.
