Vee’s Inspiration June 30, 2025
Mission #4 completed.
This was an interesting race experience. It was the first time I’ve raced outside of Georgia. The course was completely flat with 10 of the 25+ obstacles being new to me. I completed it relatively unscathed, and I’ve realized that my biceps will hurt for the remainder of my OCR season. No biggie, I’ll continue to be mindful as I compete. As far as rankings, I was 484 out of 1000 participants and 25th in my age group. If I were concerned about placement I might be disappointed, but this journey I’m on is about so much more than a score. It’s about mental stamina and grit, it’s about physical determination and resilience, it’s about carving out a space where I can become a better version of myself. This race served as another step in the right direction and therefore a successful effort. I urge everyone to redefine what winning means to you and what success looks like. It might not always be the same as defined by society.
You might be thinking so Vecus what’s the next step? 35 Days to Spartan. Thank you all for your support and continued positive thoughts.
