Vee’s Inspiration July 9, 2025
I was so exhausted this morning so I laid down on my gym floor midway through my leg workout. I even contemplated getting back into my bed. I took off my workout shoes and was about to call it a day, I even made the excuse that I would work out later today. But then my ever-present twin woke up and reminded me of Monday’s Inspiration, “Do the hard things to make enjoying the easy things worth it.” and then my twin said stop being a punk and in the words of CT Fletcher, “It’s still your MFing set” so what did I do? I put on my 30-lb weighted vest and did 20 sets of weighted squats with 20 sets of weighted triceps extensions. And then to add to my misery, I did 20 sets of 10 pushups with my weighted vest. I was going to do some pullups, but I thought it better to let my biceps continue to heal. The lesson is that the body does what the mind commands it to do, so we must train our minds to be strong.
