Vee’s Inspiration July 19, 2023
We had a big travel day yesterday and will have another big travel day today and tomorrow. 5 cities on Tuesday, 5 cities on Wednesday, and 4 cities on Thursday. 14 cities in 3 days. I feel blessed to be able to have these experiences and to be able to bring some of my Real Estate Team members along.
We discussed many different topics, but two of the more interesting conversations we had were; the reality of being blessed with 1st world problems, and people seem to gravitate towards situations that are opposite to their own.
Think about it, 1st world problem. Dine-in or eat-out, what should I wear tomorrow, where should we go on our next vacation, what's a good movie to go see, which gas station should I go to? etc., etc.
Think about it, situations that are opposite. People that grew up in a “comfortable” situation want that edge, that danger, that excitement in their life. The people that grew up in a “difficult” situation don't want any of that smoke. Ask any person that's doing those hard things. The answer is always “I do this so I can get out”
I think, my opinion only, we are the only species in the animal kingdom that takes our situation for granted.
I know, I know I took a hard right and then a hard left with this conversation, but now you can imagine how cool our day was yesterday. I'm looking forward to today’s adventure.
