Vee’s Inspiration January 27, 2024

It’s wild how subconscious echoes ultimately have sway over our conscious thoughts.   I did not understand where yesterday's inspiration came from.  I guess I remembered subconsciously, but consciously I tried to forget.   

Yesterday was 4 years since “My Dude” passed.  I never met Kobe Bryant, but I felt like we were and are kindred spirits.   Love him or hate him, he lived his life unapologetically.  I respect that.  That tragic day when his life, his daughter's life, and the other passengers and pilot onboard that fated helicopter were snuffed out did something unexplainable to me.  I know, I know people die every day and I pray comfort for their souls and their family’s hearts, but his death shook me.  I guess that's where yesterday’s Inspiration came from… that unconscious place that silently mourns losses so we can consciously move forward…  I say thank you to my unconscious self for protecting my conscious self from some of the trauma and losses I've been through.

Yesterday’s Inspiration was a reflection of that protection.

Kobe, Gianna, John, Keri, Alyssa, Christina, Ara, Sarah, and Payton… Rest In Peace
