Yesterday I was blessed to be able to attend my 2nd Dad’s 70th birthday. 

This story is interesting.  After I graduated from Morehouse, and after I worked at a law firm, I started my first business.  I was self-funded so money was tight.  A buddy of mine told me about a job at the Atlanta Journal and Constitution.  That's where I met Ron, my 2nd Dad.  He took me under his wing and welcomed me into his family.  For a 22-year-old with no family in Georgia that was everything.  Because of him,  I have a 2nd Mom, Ivy, and two younger brothers Reggie and Brian.  30 years later,  and we're all still super close.

 Life is good,  God is great and I'm so thankful.

To my 2nd Dad, Happy 70th!!!
