One of my daughters lost a close friend of hers.  He felt his only option was to make a permanent life decision.

I exhaled as I heard the news of a life cut short.  A young man barely scratching the surface of life, made a permanent life decision.  

I instantly thought about all of my children who are now young adults, I thought of my family and friends and wondered what burdens are they carrying.  What pressures are they under?  Are any of them considering making a permanent decision based on the circumstances they are in?  Hearing you are not the only one dealing with difficulties is not always what people want or need to hear.  I am not qualified to advise in this field,  but I will say, that if you or someone you know are thinking about making a permanent decision regarding life,  please share your thoughts with a loved one and speak to someone qualified to listen and help.  

My prayers of comfort and strength go out to my daughter and her circle of friends.
