What is perfection? Is it the dictionary’s definition? (the condition, state, or quality of being free or as free as possible from all flaws or defects.)
Or is it something else? I believe it can be something else. For me, it was yesterday. The cool thing is that yesterday had its flaws, it had its defects, but when I replay the day in my mind, it was perfect.
Yesterday was FitCamp which meant my day started at 2:00 a.m. (I realized something interesting while doing the pre-, during, and post-FitCamp work.
“I LOVE THIS SHIT”
Sure it took 2.5 hours to design and sketch the workout, 1- hour to put the music playlist together, 4- hours to set up the course, 3- hours of pre-FitCamp tweaks, 1- hour of FitCamp, and 4- hours to break down and clean the equipment. So 14- hours of work for a 1-hour FitCamp🙄🤔, “Do something you love and you'll never work a day…”-Various authors
(Special shout out to Mateo and Kyla - remember those names, they will be wildly successful in every sense of the word. Thank you again for Filming “The819”)
After that, we had a family gathering that turned into something you dream about. In total, there were 27 of us eating, laughing, relaxing, joking, conversing, swimming and just enjoying a beautiful August afternoon/evening. When I think about family, this is the picture I’ve always thought about. Our night ended at 11:30 p.m. We were all pretty tired, but as my Cuzzo and my wife both said, “This makes it all worthwhile.”
Were there flaws yesterday? Heck yeah. Did yesterday have times of frustration? Heck yeah.
BUT THAT’S WHAT MADE IT PERFECT!
I hope you had a perfect yesterday.
Have a great Sunday!
Stay safe!
