My wife says, “I share too much” I say, “That’s what makes me me”

Quick story…

I registered for the Atlanta Climb for Air initially to fill an open date on my fitness journey.  I figured this would keep me active between my April 26 Tough Mudder OCR in Atlanta and my June 28 Savage OCR in Chicago.  I paid the registration fee of $35 and donated $35 towards the mandatory $100 donation fee.  I figured I’d pay the remaining $65 balance on climb day.  Nothing too crazy, I figured the $135 is cheaper than the amount I normally pay for each obstacle course race I enter so Is’t all good.  But then I read what the event was about and its purpose.  Raising money to help those who are in a vulnerable space.  Helping those who for whatever reason can’t help themselves.  Being part of a community that is constantly helping others through community involvement, medical assistance, first responders, research and so many other ways that require money.  As I continued my research I learned that the American Lung Association does this type of event all over the country.

All of a sudden my placeholder event became more important than any of my other OCRs on my calendar.  That was when I decided to ask for your help.  Many of you have loved or liked, thank you for your emotional support.  A handful have donated, thank you for your emotional and financial support, I appreciate you. But more importantly, the people who receive help because of your financial support say, “Thank You”.

The climb is on May 3, 2025 feel free to hang out in the crowd as I join hundreds of others that “Climb for Air”
