The most important work is self-work. It's so easy to see and say the flaws of others but we are blind and mute to our own.

There are no silver bullets for this trait that we all have, only hard work.

• I think the first step is recognizing we all have opportunities to grow.

• I think the second step is to get brutally honest feedback from people you respect.

• I think the third step is removing the “that's not me” and the, “I hear you but...” from our thinking when we receive the feedback

• I think the fourth step is to write a plan to address the feedback.

• I think the fifth step is to share with and ask for help from trusted people in your close circle. Work on the plan every day and get feedback from your trusted circle every thirty - sixty days.

These steps have helped and continue to help me, so I’d thought I'd share.
