Sometimes you don't realize the beauty of a situation until you are in it or through it.  Anissia and I had an experience this past Saturday night.  One of our various adventures during our 4-day staycation was to visit my Frat brother and his family.  

So we made the hour-and-a-half drive down to Peachtree City.  Not knowing what to expect, the evening was a wonderful treat.  Frat’s family is beautiful, three other couples attended and we had a wonderful time.  Cool fact,  we are all Morehouse men, classes of 91, 92, and my year, the best year...93.  It felt like we all knew each other for years.  We ended up outside around the fire pits making smores, taking pictures, talking about our kids, and talking about life.  Sometimes life’s treats come in different packages.

It was a beautiful experience.

Dear ole Morehouse, Dear ole Morehouse... Our beautiful institution was what brought us all together through different experiences, and different times, yet here we are, men with different stories, and different roads traveled, yet we are still connected.  Sometimes you don't realize the beauty of a situation until you are in it or through it.
