“When I was younger and knew less, I responded to adversity by communicating less and trying to do more.  Now that I'm older and know more, I respond to adversity by communicating more because I know, I can't do more.”-Vecus2024

The above statement might sound confusing, but hear my thoughts…

When I was mentally, emotionally, and physically younger I would try to outwork a problem or situation.  I would not communicate what my problem or situation was,  I thought I could physically outwork it and still be impactful.

Now, through the eyes of an older more experienced man, I realize I was less effective.

As I have grown mentally, emotionally, and physically,  I've learned that by effectively communicating during times of adversity, I can still be impactful even if I have to physically work less.  

We sometimes look at getting older as a bad thing,  I view it as a blessing.
