Happy Birthday, Son. I thank God for you. I pray your dreams become your reality. Understand your life is the result of your dreams combined with your hard work. A shift...

I had a great discussion with a young man yesterday. Imagine that, he’s 37 and I'm calling him a young man. Smh. We discussed different topics and different approaches to those topics. We discussed success and what that means. We discussed self-worth, self-esteem, self-respect, and how that defines one's perception of success. Then he got super introspective and repeated a quote, and I paraphrase, “one's perception of self is really their perception of what they perceive you perceive of their perception of themself.”

Interesting...

We concluded by both agreeing that your success is not what others deem as success, but what you set and achieve as your success.
