Lessons I have been reminded of this week?

• I've been reminded to pay attention to people I don't normally associate with.  Their stories are just as interesting as mine.

• I've been reminded to appreciate the opportunities I've been afforded.  Be intentional about not taking things for granted.

• I've been reminded that sacrifice is can be different for everyone.  That difference does not make it less than, it just means it's different.

• I've been reminded that I should care less about what people think or say about me most people have not made the effort to get to know me.

• I've been reminded that people talk a lot, but “act a few”.

• I've been reminded that to be great, you have to take chances.

• I've been reminded that proximity to movement begets movement.

• I've been reminded that things that are important to me might not be important to others.

• I've been reminded that being selfish about my time, my energy, and my passion is not selfish but self-preservation

• I've been reminded that everyone won't be supportive of your dreams and ambitions.  It's wasted energy to take it personally.

• I've been reminded that as I lean into my strengths, my weaknesses will grow.

• I've been reminded to be more patient and forgiving of myself.

• I've been reminded that grace is a gift that can be taken away suddenly.

• I've been reminded that when people smile at you it does not always mean they are happy for you.

• I've been reminded that accidents can happen to the most skilled of people.

• I've been reminded that we all can be hypocrites when it comes to how we view what we do versus how we view what others do.

• I've been reminded of the power of prayer, and the power of saying thank you, Lord.

• I've been reminded that every day is an opportunity to learn and extend your story.
