Vee's Inspiration February 7, 2025
So this morning was interesting. I woke up at 2:00 am mentally prepared for an intense gym leg session at 4:15 am. I started my morning routine by giving thanks for waking up. I let the dogs out and was getting prepared when my wife said be careful and don't go towards Annistown Rd when you go to the Gym. She sent me the news link about police activity, basically the entire area was in lockdown. I texted my gym partner and said I was not going to make it to the gym this morning, I would do my workout at home. Then I got to thinking about my workouts the past few days, Real Talk, I've been putting in work! I looked at my Woop app (shout out to one of the people I distance motivate, Laquanda for turning me on to Woop) my woop indicated my recovery has not been the best. See my chart below:
The Crazy thing is that my wife intuitively knew I'd been pushing it, and she said, “Why don't you lay down for another hour or so”, I guess I was tired because I slept for another 2.5 hours. When I woke back up I decided this morning would be a rest morning, I’ll still will get a leg workout in later today, but this morning I decided resting would be the best workout for me. As you can see from the next chart, I needed it:
Thanks, babe!!
When I woke back up, I decided to break my weighing once-per-month rule. I had already weighed in on Feb 1st with my next weigh-in scheduled for March the 1st, but I said what the hell, let's see how my last 6 days of work translated physically, see my chart below:
Down 3 more lbs since Saturday. 4 lbs to go until my 223 lb February 21st goal and 7 more lbs to reach my 220lb March 15th Spartan goal weight.
Thank you to all of you who have supported me passively and big hugs and love to the people who have been actively cheering me on my Journey to Spartan I appreciate everyone, but I especially appreciate y'all.
Have a Great Day and Stay Safe
