Did you imagine you would be where you are today when you dreamed of your life many years ago?  I didn't.  

Sure, I had dreams of the perfect family and the perfect friends with the perfect career.  I had it all planned out.  Then this thing we call life happens and as they say, “No plan survives first contact with the enemy”  my perfectly planned life faded into reality.

Real talk... Life’s storm can be tough, unforgiving, and cruel.  Family, friends, and careers can leave you disappointed and wanting.  So what do you do when the things in your life don’t go as you planned?  

You stand still and let the cruel winds of life take their best shots at you.  

You plant your thoughts into the reality that these cruel winds will pass if you are patient.  

You keep your attitude and spirit protected by remembering life is about choices, choose to remain positive.

And when the cruel winds subside, you give THANKS and promise to help someone else who is in the midst of life’s cruel storm.
