“Real Talk...”
I was motivated this morning!!
I trained a client this morning. Between you and me, it was a hell of a workout!!! That joker did not complain, did not slack, and did not quit. I even felt compelled to say, “every workout I develop for a client, I've done”. That did not faze them, they just worked through the tough assignment.
I was so motivated that after our session I changed my personal workout to something “stupid” see below.
Anyway, I was reminded of two things this morning,
1- “If you don't quit, you WILL get to your destination. If you don't complain, that journey might be difficult, but you'll learn something positive about yourself”
2- “Be aware, you might unknowingly inspire someone to be better and to do better”
-” Thank you to my client for the Motivation to do more and work harder...”
My stupid workout -
10 sets of 20 reps- increase weight from 110lbs to 200lbs each set with 15sec rest - seated cable row
10 sets of 20 reps- increase weight from 110lbs to 200lbs each set with 15sec rest - seated cable lat reverse grip row
10 sets of 20 reps- increase weight from 70lbs to 160lbs each set with 15sec rest - seated cable lat pull down to the sternum
5 sets of 20 reps- 10-sec rest- 20lbs each cable -standing cross-body cable back fly (middle back)
5 sets of 20 reps- 10-sec rest- 10lbs each cable -standing cross-body cable back fly (lower back)
3 sets of 10 reps- no rest - single arm dumbbell bent over row (60lbs)
Cooldown-
60min on the treadmill @ level 5 2.8mph
