An Observation…

“Summer was tired of us so Fall rushed in with her cool breath of reality.  That cool breeze that brushes the trees, sways the branches and culls the leaves as they continue their cycle of life.  I once thought that was a cruel fate to something that was once part of something bigger and better than itself.  But then as I watched that discarded leaf, I understood that all things have a cycle, a beginning and an ending. Or should I say the beginning of their story that's defined with a comma or a period.  That comma represents a pause in the story that then continues along the same thought, theme or continuum.  But that period is the stopping of that story or thought or action to pivot to another.  That leaf has reached it’s period and fulfilled it purpose on that tree that sways in the breeze, so it Falls into the next cycle, different to us, yet important to all.”- Vecus 2024

Appreciation… 

Yesterday was a better day.   

We went out on a breakfast date.  Returned some Amazon missbuys at Kohles.  Watched Grandson #2, Lorenzo,  for a few hours.  And then we sat in the basement and watched a bunch of college football.  Our Cuzzos came over to see about us and hang out for a few hours.  Thank y'all, we love y'all.  Thank you to all the texts, calls, neighbor waves, electronic Door Dash Gift cards sent and the prayers prayed.  We are thankful for all the support.  Please send prayers or positive thoughts to all the families touched by the loss of loved ones.   May we all be comforted during these difficult times.
