I Remain…
I remain focused despite the pressure to become distracted.
I remain grounded despite favor and God’s blessings.
I remain motivated despite the same routine that surrounds me.
I remain unapologetically positive despite all the possible negatives.
I remain that steady despite the uncertainty.
I remain that same cool kid with a quick switch from the Bronx despite being a laid-back husband, father of 3, and papa of 4, living in the South.
I remain the same with those who cross me and those who cross mine, despite the smile.
I remain that guy who gives thanks to God every day despite all the other distractions that might happen.
I remain humble and appreciative despite the hard times.
I remain the friend I’ve always been despite the different places we’ve been.
I remain the same young soul who came to this city with hope and aspirations of becoming more than I was despite me being an older soul, I still have aspirations of becoming more than I am.
I remain true to myself despite all the other stories about me.
