Vee’s Inspiration March 24, 2024

I listened to the Allen Iverson tribute to Kobe Bean Bryant.  It made me respect Iverson even more.  

Today is The day of Kobe.  Each day 24 of each month in the year 2024 is Kobe Bryant Day.  

People who know me best know the answer to this question.  I often get asked which NBA team is my favorite.  My answer is always the same.  I'm from New York son, but my team ain't the Knicks.   Growing up I was a MJ fan so I Rocked with the Bulls,  and then when the torch was passed from MJ to Kobe I Rocked with the Lakers.  The torch dimmed for me when Kobe retired and went out when he died.  I still have mad love and respect for the great basketball players of today.  But to me, that stone-cold basketball assassin retired with Kobe. 

Kobe represented, possibilities.  He was not the most gifted athlete but he became great by having an iron will and a curious mind.  I believe anyone who cultivates those two personality traits can be great.  I admire Kobe from that perspective more than anything else.  I've tried to incorporate those traits into my daily routines and they have worked.

Be curious about something and go after it until you perfect it.

I miss you Kobe, thank you for the life lessons…
