Vee’s Inspiration July 25, 2025

It’s funny how life works.  Yesterday I spoke with a young man I use to manage.  I have not seen him in 10-12 years.  He has become very successful after leaving our company.  He said the lessons I taught him and the standards I held him to were one of the main reasons for his current success.  I met a Division manager for the first time yesterday. Despite never meeting me, she said I was the reason she stayed at our company.  The idea that a person with my story and my background could reach the level I reached was her anchor.  It also motivated her to continue to work hard despite the challenges and obstacles.  

These two chance conversations were another unexpected gift for me from thee.  We all need subtle encouragement and confirmation that we are doing good work.  Mine came in the form of these unexpected conversations.  

I am thankful.
