I'll keep this simple and to the point.

Yesterday was one of those days... I decided to sleep in until 4:00 am and was at the office by 6:00 am,  so by 6:25 pm I was mentally ready to leave.  But I could not get the report I had just finished to attach to an email I needed to send.  Yeah I know it sounds simple, SMH.  My ride-or-die called to say “I'm not rushing you, I'm checking on you”  I guess my frustration was evident over the phone.  She asked, “What's wrong”  I was embarrassed, but I told her I could not get the report I was working on to attach to the email and I was not going to leave without checking this off my to-do list.  She patiently walked me through some steps and when that didn't work, she patiently walked me through a workaround.  10 minutes later, the email was sent, with attachments.  The additional to-do items were completed. And I was able to walk out of the office by 6:50 pm.  All she said to me before we hung up the phone was, “we're a team, I got you”

Just remember, “seen or unseen, we are never successful by ourselves.  Make sure you have the right person in your corner.”

To my wife.  I love you. I appreciate you.  I appreciate your support.  I appreciate your calm to my storm.  Thank you for your quiet patience as you walked me out of the forest of mental frustration.

Have a great Saturday!

Stay safe!
