I say, “Thank you” for that spicy Jazmine fragrance that proceeds your confident entrance into my reality.

I say, “Thank you” for that beautiful smile that makes the everyday hard work mean something.

I say, “Thank you” because maybe no one else appreciates that beautiful intellect you carry effortlessly into rooms with those that look like you and rooms with those that don't.

I say, “Thank you” for being the constant during times of inconsistency.

I say, “Thank you” because without you,  I cease to exist.
