Vee’s Inspiration August 24, 2024

I could have said it yesterday, but yesterday was my Big Sis’s birthday so it was her day.  Today is Kobe’s day even though yesterday was his birthday.   Today, the 24th day of August in the year 2024,  is Kobe’s day so we’ll give him his August 23rd birthday flowers today.  Happy Birthday, Kobe.  I miss your presence, your influence, and the way you deconstructed problems and reconstructed the solution.  The example of what chasing perfection looks like is captured when we read your life story.  Hard work and patience mixed with intentionality, and constant transparent self-analysis is how you became one of the greatest basketball competitors of all time.  We often say “Gone too soon”, but everything happens on God’s schedule.  So I'll just say, “I’m thankful for the time you were here.  Some of the lessons I've learned from you have helped me on my journey “on this thing we call Life” Continue to Rest Easy.
