It's 2:00 am Monday, we're just getting home from the airport.  What a birthday trip!  We are both back to work later today so it's time to get a few hours of sleep.

Remember,  if you work hard, you have to figure out a way to play hard.

Lord,  we are thankful for all of your blessings.  Thank you for the bounty, thank you for family, thank you for positive restorative relationships.  Thank you for the perspective as we go through life’s challenges.  We understand life is not always perfect,  it gets hard and can be unfair and unforgiving. During those hard times, we might want to quit, give up, or do something we can't come back from.  Lord, we are thankful for your comfort, guidance, and connection to other positive souls during those challenging times.  Lord, we ask that we remain positive and optimistic and remain a resource to others who are also dealing with life’s challenges.
