“A day off...”

I woke up at 2:00 am to finish a couple of work projects. I thought it would take me an hour but ended up taking me 4 hours. I decided to get a couple of hours of sleep, It's been a long few days, mentally tired and still not 100% physically. I woke up and spent a little time with one of the Grand boys, then started putting together the outside Christmas decorations, I had a 4 pm training session and for the first time in a while, we had the entire crew at the house. The three children “now known as the adults” and the three grandboys. Everyone was supposed to get to the house by 5:30 pm... Of course, Brebre was late... It was a blissful but hectic 1.5 hours of TikTok videos, grandboys running around, silly jokes, and holiday picture-taking. We had to kick those jokers out by 7:00 pm. I then took an hour to complete my workout and TheChallenge, then we had a “glad we are empty nesters” long island ice tea and we then went over to our neighbor's house for dinner and laughs. We got back home at 10:00 pm and crashed. In the voice of Ice Cube “yesterday was a good day”

They are crazy, but I think we did ok raising the kids.
