Thank you...

I started this writing journey many years ago as therapy.  Reading and writing have always been my medicine.   Being able to bend words around the corners and edges of someone's comprehension has always been a gift.  A gift I never fully received despite all the accolades and awards... president of this, captain of that, leader of them.  I soak in denial and self-doubt. Afraid that my words would blacklight me.  Illuminate all my invisible flaws and sear the unprotected eyes.  I was a cub on the plains of life, innocent and exposed.  So I wrote to cure my maladies.  Writing has always been the easy part,  the hard part is/has/was sharing with you.  I did not realize sharing with you would help me heal in such a profound way.  Don't get me wrong, I'm still far from cured, but I have each of you to thank for allowing me to heal in front of you. Thank you for your support, encouragement, your realness, your trust, and your prayers.  I’m humbled and grateful.
