When I was much younger, the days leading up to Christmas were so exciting. There was the hype of “Santa”, “Rudolph” and “ Frosty”. The Santa tracker and all the excitement that surrounded Christmas day. And then, there were the days after Christmas when the “Magic” melted away and I was sad. Nothing bad happened, but it was just the inevitable contrast of the after-Christmas emotions to the before-Christmas emotions
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned how to change the after-Christmas experience to be as positive as the before-Christmas experience.
I realized as I got older, the fun and excitement in the build-up to the Holiday Season is great, but after the “Day” is over, there is equal excitement in the stories of the holiday and the additional experiences we create. This year I’ve had the best times on Christmas Eve with Family, Christmas Day with my work Family, and The Day after Christmas with Family.
And they say “all great things are wasted on the youth…”😃 I tell you what, as you get wiser you realize and appreciate the greatness in all things…
I pray each of you had a wonderful Holiday. I look forward to a healthy, fun, and productive 2023.
Have a great Tuesday!
Stay safe!
Time for my “Gymdance”
