“I’m just thinking out loud…”

Please be careful. I shake my head and say silent prayers for my wife, kids, grandboys, family, friends, and the people I casually associate with. It seems as though the value of life has become less important than one's pride, ego, or a self-centered need to control a situation.

I'm not about, or in “dem streets” but I knew plenty of dudes that were. Some aren’t here anymore, some have been gone for a while, and others have gone, come back, and are gone again. I’ve learned some things from some of these dudes, but most of the lessons I’ve learned came from observation. I’ve watched as benign situations became cancerous because of the three points I stated earlier, ego, pride, or the need to try and control a situation. I ask that you lock those three potential cancers in a closet and don’t let them turn a regular situation into something more.

Be mindful, “slight actions can turn into big consequences”
