Do you ever get into a zone at work or home when everything fades and you are completely focused on one objective? Well, that happened to me on Wednesday while working out. Everything else faded to black. It was leg day, and everyone who knows me knows, Vecus loves/hates LEG DAY. I ended up doing 30 sets of various leg exercises with reps ranging between 10-20. SMH😫🔥

Two days later and I’m still feeling it. I LOVE IT!😛

Sometimes the short-term hard work is going to result in short-term pain, but the long-term benefits will be worth it.

I've noticed I've been thinking a lot about the short-term sacrifice vs. long-term benefits lately. It probably has to do with the time of year. This time of year can be a time of “ Extra”. Perhaps subconsciously I'm conditioning myself to sacrifice some of my short-term “wants” for my long-term goals.

Real Talk... I've not consistently done disconnect time, but by me doing 15+ min consistently with “TheChallenge,” my focus and mental energy have improved. Probably one of the reasons I feel dialed in on a few things, anyway, my wife tells me I share too much at times...😳, the story of my life😜
